Product Overview

Product Overview

Gold quartz slab

Smarter Stone produces high-density Calacatta Gold engineered quartz slabs using 93% natural quartz aggregate combined with polymer resins and color pigments. Raw materials are processed under high vacuum, vibration, and extreme pressure (over 100 tons) to eliminate internal voids. This manufacturing method yields a non-porous structure superior to natural marble in mechanical performance.

Our production lines accommodate slab dimensions up to 3200x1600mm and 3200x1800mm, available in standard thicknesses of 18mm, 20mm, and 30mm. We provide full customization services for stone distributors, countertop fabricators, and commercial contractors.

Quality Control

QUATZ SLAB

Color & Pattern Sorting: Slabs are inspected under standard D65 artificial light sources to categorize color consistency across production batches, ensuring uniform tone for large-scale multi-slab installations.

Dimension & Flatness Checks: Surface planarity is measured using laser line gauges to keep warping within strict limits (≤ 0.5mm across the slab length). Diagonal and edge squareness tolerances are verified per contract specification.

Surface Defect Elimination: Slabs undergo manual and optical scanner inspection to locate pinholes, resin spots, micro-cracks, or uneven vein distribution. Defective pieces are removed immediately.

Export Packaging: Slabs are stacked face-to-face with protective plastic film interleaving. Secured onto reinforced ISPM-15 compliant fumigated A-frame wooden racks or crates, steel banding binds the structure to resist dynamic loads during maritime transit.

Typical Application

Residential Kitchen Environments: Waterfall islands, kitchen countertops, perimeter prep stations, and full-height backsplashes.

Commercial Hospitality Projects: Hotel reception desks, bar counters, buffet stations, and rest area wall paneling.

Bathroom & Sanitary Installations: Multi-basin vanity tops, shower wall surrounds, thresholds, and tub decks in multi-family developments.

High-Traffic Interior Spaces: Commercial office lobbies, lift surrounds, wall cladding, and indoor flooring tiles.

FAQ

Q: Q: How does this gold-veined quartz slab resist staining and liquid absorption in high-traffic commercial environments?

A: A: Due to its resin-bound structure formed under extreme vacuum pressing, water absorption stays below 0.03%. Liquids such as coffee, oil, wine, and cleaning agents cannot penetrate the non-porous matrix, eliminating permanent staining without requiring recurring protective sealers.

Q: Q: How does your factory guarantee color and vein consistency for high-volume, multi-container orders?

A: A: Raw quartz aggregates and pigments are measured via automated batching systems. Slabs from identical raw material charges undergo strict optical sorting, matching tone and vein density before crating to ensure uniformity across large commercial installations.

Q: Q: What installation procedures and adhesives are recommended for jointing these quartz slabs?

A: A: Use color-matched two-component epoxy or acrylic adhesive for seam bonding. Ensure subfloors or cabinetry structures are completely level before placement. Leave a 2-3mm expansion gap at wall perimeters, and avoid rigid mechanical fixings without thermal expansion clearance.
