Cement-based: This type of artificial marble uses various types of cement as a binder, sand as fine aggregate, and crushed marble, granite, industrial waste, etc., as coarse aggregate. It is made through batching, mixing, molding, pressure steam curing, grinding, and polishing. Commonly known as terrazzo or epoxy flooring.

Polyester-based: This type of artificial marble uses unsaturated polyester as a binder, mixed with quartz sand, marble, calcite powder, etc., cast into shape, and cured under the action of a curing agent. It is then demolded, dried, and polished. This method is commonly used in my country for producing artificial marble.

Composite-based: This type of artificial marble is composed of inorganic and organic polymer materials. After the filler is bound and shaped using inorganic materials, the blank is impregnated with organic monomers, allowing them to polymerize under certain conditions. For slabs, the bottom layer uses inexpensive and stable inorganic materials, and the surface layer is made of polyester and marble powder.

Sintered type: This type of artificial marble is made by mixing feldspar, quartz, pyroxene, calcite powder, hematite powder, and a small amount of kaolin, preparing the blank using the slurry method, molding it using the semi-dry pressing method, and sintering it in a kiln at a high temperature of about 1000℃.
